After brilliant Show by Indian fast Bowlers; Batsman again left the team high and dry

After failing in the first innings, Indian batsmen were expected to do well in the second innings, but batsmen made little targets like 208 as impossible. The whole team could score 135 runs in the second innings. R Ashwin tops the list with 37 runs from India.

Due to failure of the batsmen Virat Kohli’s team India has been forced to face the shameful defeat of 72 runs on the fourth day of the Cape Town Test. This is the situation when the match on the third day was completely washed by the rain.

Indian fast bowlers today bowled out South African team on just 130 runs on the fourth day of the first Test match in the second innings bowlers done the great job by restricting protease on the small score of 130 runs. The team has a golden chance to win. On the basis of first innings, the hosts had a target 208 runs to win the match. But once again the solid looking batting lineup on paper once again failed on the pace tracks as the whole team stacked on 135 runs in 42.4 overs.

Indian team performance can be estimated from the fact that in both the innings, the Indian team had lost seven wickets before the 100 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin, who scored 37 runs, was India’s top scorer in the second innings. Vernon Philander took 6 wickets for South Africa.

But soon Ashwin was dismissed, Mohammed Shami and Jaspreet Bumrah also returned to the pavilion.  Earlier, on the fourth day of the match, Team India sent the pavilion to the hosts in the first session of the day. Mohammed Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jaspreet Bumrah and Hardik Pandya did not even allow African batsmen to move. Shami and Bumrah took 3-3 wickets.
