India v Australia: Under-19 World Cup 2018, Indian Team want to start with A Win

Team India’s future stars will play on the field against Australia in the ICC Under-19 World Cup on Sunday. Rahul Dravid- ‘The Wall’ is the coach of Indian team; the tournament is being played in New Zealand.

Team India has won the Under-19 World Cup three times and would like to capture it for the fourth time. Last time India won it in 2012, under the leadership of Unmukt Chand.

Team India reached the final in the previous World Cup i.e 2016. However, in the final, he was defeated by the West Indies team.  Dravid has been with this team for a long time as a mentor and is believed that the whole team has learnt a lot from him.

Apart from Captain Prithvi Shaw, Himashun Rana is in good form. In addition to these two, everyone’s eyes will be on the Shubhman Gill of Punjab. In the middle, favorable Rai and Abhishek Sharma will also want to show their talent with their bat.  

There are seven such players in the Indian team who have played First-class cricket earlier this year. The strength of the team is its captain Prithvi Shaw.

Prithvi Shaw played an impressive innings of 546 runs in school cricket game. At the same time, it will be the responsibility of Ishan Porail and Shivan Mavai of Bengal to stop the Kangaroo batsmen from scoring big score. Both of these fast bowlers have influenced the Indian Domestic Circle.

Before the match Captain Shaw said he was happy with the team’s preparations. He said, ‘We have been here for a week and have played some matches. Our preparations are excellent and our goal is to win the World Cup. ”
