MS Dhoni became the first Asian wicket-keeper to register 800 dismissals in international cricket. Dhoni reached the milestone during the Asia Cup 2018 final between India and Bangladesh at the Dubai. He is now third on the list of wicket keepers with most dismissals after Mark Boucher (998) and Adam Gilchrist (905).

First prey of Dhoni was Liton Das, who was deceived by a Kuldeep Yadav googly as he stretched forward and missed and Lightning Dhoni, thrashed the bails in a flash to send the batsman back to pavilion.
