Pujara became 3rd Quickest Indian batsmen to reach 4000 test runs in his 50th Test

Indian middle order batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara entered his name in the list of 4000 test runs club. Pujara made his 50th Test more fertile by achieving the feet of becaming the 3rd joint-fastest Indian batsmen along with Rahul Dravid to reach 4000 test runs in 84 innings. Before the start of the match Pujara required just 34 runs and he achieved the same in 42nd over of the match. Virender Sehwag took 79 innings to achieve the feat while Sunil Gavaskar did it in 82 innings.

Pujara with his 13th century is still on the crease and looking solid and he will enter the crease on 2nd day to convert his ton into 4th double ton and the other end Rahane is also at 103 not out on the crease.
