Sad day for Indian Cricket; Sunil Gavaskar said on Kumble’s resignation as coach and what others are tweeting about on Kumble.

To an interview given to NDTV;Sunil Gavaskar said that it is the sad day of the Indian cricket. On Anil Kumble he gave strong words and said that he is tough guy who takes his work very sincerely. Kumble is not from that guy’s or coaches whom you expect that he will say that Ok boys no practice today if you are not feeling well let’s take a holiday and go for a shopping. A big no he is not one of them he is tough lad and proved in his one year tenure; as you can see team performance in long test season with just one test lost in that season. Further he added so you want softies? The players who are crabby; they are the one who should be left out of the team.

On Asking about the differences between duo Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli; he said that I have very little clue about the two what difference they were havin (Kohli and Kumble), but it is a heartbreaking day for the Indian cricket because he has been one of the utmost cricketers and the legend that India has created and for him to not  to continue the job for whatever reason it may be, and perhaps he might come up with the reasons over the next few days but it is very sad for cricket and its fans.

Detailing on the discrepancy between the two he said to NDTV, “There will always be differences in a group of more than two or three people. That’s bound to happen when you are in a tense situation… India has won everything since the time Anil took over. I can’t see Kumble doing much wrong in one year and the only reason this kind of a day has come is clearly because there has to be something which didn’t quite gel in that group.”
