Sri Lanka Will Try To Start The Tour With A Win On Thursday

Team India is ready to face Sri Lanka for three Tests, three ODIs, and three Twenty20s. The series will begin at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday as Men in blue will take on Sri Lankan skippers Dinesh Chandimal‘s man in the first Test

Sri Lanka want to settle the score this time as last time these two teams met each other was when India toured Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli men in blue whitewashed the Lankan’s in all the three formats, ending the tour with a score line of 9-0. While Chandimal and company will try to turn the tables this time and forget the defeat at their home as a bad nightmare and start the tour with a win. While the Lankan side is having a bad time especially in the limited-overs as they also lost ODI and T20I series to Pakistan but they will look for inspiration from their recent Test series outings against Pakistan, where they restrained the Sarfraz Ahmed-led team in the United Arab Emirates and won the two-match Test Series 2-0.
