Match 9: England Women vs Sri Lanka Women, County Ground, Taunton

Just one thing went in Sri Lankan Women favor that was the toss. Sri Lanka Women won the toss and chooses to bat first and got a good start also as both openers added 44 runs before Nipuni Hansika was caught by Wilson on bowling of Sciver on 17 runs. From there onwards wickets start falling and Sri Lanka Women was not able to build up a partnership. Thanks to 45 runs partnership down the order for the 8th wicket Ranasinghe and Kanchana of 45 runs which helped SL-W to reach the total of 204/8 in 50 over’s.

In reply England Women lost its first two wickets on 50 runs and it appeared the Sri Lanka Women will show some fight but Skipper Heather Knight and Sarah Taylor not allowed this to happen as both added 148 runs for the 3rd wicket and cruised their team to victory with 7 wickets in hand.

Match 10: Australia Women vs New Zealand Women, Played at County Ground, Bristol

New Zealand Women won the toss and elected to bat first and lost its opener Rachel Priest on 35 runs on the score board. Then Skipper Suzie Bates and  Amy Satterthwaite added 50 runs for 2nd wicket. Suddenly New Zealand Women lost 2 quick wickets  Amy Satterthwaite and Martin. Skipper Bates also departs after completing it half century and NZ-W suddenly reduced to 96/4. Since then Wickets started falling on regular intervals, Just Katie Perkins made 52 runs before she got run out and at end of innings Erin Birmingham made quick 35 and New Zealand Women closed their innings on 219/9 in 50 over’s.

Australia Women started well and had 49 runs partnership for the fisrt wicket and lost wicket on score of 72 runs. Then couple of hiccups in the middle of the innings. But Australian Women’s managed to reach the total comfortably in 49th over with 5 wickets.

Match 11: India Women vs Pakistan Women, County Ground, Derby

After winning the toss Pakistan Women put India Women to bat and they lost their first wicket on 7 runs. It was  Deepti Sharma and Poonam Raut who steady the innings and added crucial 67 runs for 2nd wicket. Since then India loss wickets regularly and just managed 169/9 in 50 overs. No fifty in Indian innings

Match 12: South Africa vs West Indies Women, Grace Road, Leicester 

The match started and over in span of 32 overs. West Indies Women were bowled on 48 in 25.2 overs
