Watch: Fan breaks the security to touch MS Dhoni’s feet during CSKvRR match

Former India captain and veteran wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has gained popularity all over the place.

Without a doubt Former Indian Skipper Dhoni enjoys massive fan following and no other cricketer comes close to him when it comes to fan base. Friday’s Indian Premier League match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals witnessed the a glimpse of his fan following. 

When Mahendra Singh Dhoni was heading towards the crease after Suresh Raina’s dismissal during Chennai’s innings, a young man ran and touched his feet. Dhoni stays for a while and then talking to his fan, further moves towards the crease.

After meeting MS Dhoni, he is happy to see the joy of this passionate fan. The young man, returning back to the audience gallery, looks towards the sky as if he had ever seen God. This video of Dhoni and his fan is becoming increasingly viral on the internet.  Well this is not the first time that such a passion for MS Dhoni has got to be seen. During the match and during the net practice many times the fans have done this with Dhoni.

The boy became very emotional after embracing Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In the international cricket, along with the IPL, MS Dhoni has got this kind of passion among the fans to see many times.

The hero of the match was Shane Watson, who smashed his third IPL century (106 of just 57 balls) as Chennai Super Kings win match comprehensively by beating Rajasthan Royals by 64-runs.

Welcoming the move to Pune, Dhoni said, “The people over here, they supported me when I played for Pune, so you could say that it was good that I could return the favor. Yes, it’s Chennai Super Kings and not Pune Super Kings, but by the end of the seventh game, we’ll see more yellow here.”
