CWC 2019: Teams Squads for and Previous World Cup Winners

The first round of the CWC 2019 will see 10 teams — England (hosts),
India, South Africa , Australia, Bangladesh, , New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and West Indies — play against each other. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals.

Which means a total of 45 matches will be played in CWC 2019, with each team playing nine matches each. The top four teams from the group will progress to the knockout stage. A similar format was previously used in the 1992 Cricket World Cup, though that tournament featured nine teams instead of ten.
