India hammered England by 246 runs in 2nd Test Match

Day 5: J root and Duckett started the day for England to try to draw the game but sooner breaks were applied by Aswin by taking wicket of Duckett; he was caught on zero by Saha behind the wickets in 65^th over. Duckett by no means looked at ease in his brief stay at the crease.

Now it was turn of Jadeja as he balls flighted delivery to Moeen and it edged into slip and caught by Kohali on just 2 runs. Then Debutant Jayant Yadav got into the act and bowled a beauty to get rid of the precarious Stokes. The ball turned sharply to castle the left-hander’s off stump.

The Indian pace men were not to be left behind and Mohammad Shami picked up the big wicket of Joe Root. Since then wickets started falling on regular intervals. No other batsmen can stay for long on the crease. It was a matter of as Jayant Yadav picked 2 wickets in quick succession to take India to their second biggest win over England in terms of runs. Match was already set yesterday after the late strike of spinners.

Virat Kohli and his men have drawn first blood after thrashing England meticulously by 246 runs and India’s biggest win in terms of runs against England. Leads the 5 Test match series 1-0.
