Post Match Press Conference of Skipper Virat Kohli and Angelo Mathews
Sri Lanka beat India by 7 wickets to keep his hopes alive in ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Skipper Kohli said that we are not aggressive side who plays aggressive Cricket all 50 overs. We play on the merits of the balls and accelerate when required.
He also added that in ICC Champions Trophy is tournament of the Champions and every team can dangerous on a given day and could surprise opposition. Kholi said that before the match I told that Sri Lank team is on of the better team and has a calliber to adapt any condition and they did the same by playing positive and aggressive cricket. Moreover Kholi believed that the 321 total was a good total and we played good cricket its just not our day.
Angelo Mathews was happy with his team performence and said this will boost our young brigade confidence and will play better in coming games.
