Happy Birthday Sourav Ganguly: This is how Dada Changed Team India Into A Unit

The game of cricket is played by emotion in which all players have to give their 100 percent. But sometimes there are such players in cricket history that they change the game by changing their behavior. One such player is former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly has turned 46 today. The left-handed batsman started international career in 1992 with ODIs, but he was recognized by the 1996 tour of England. Ganguly, also known as Dada, he has scored 7,212 runs in 113 Test matches, and in 311 one-dayers he has scored 11,363 runs, including 22 centuries. In the one-dayer match, Ganguly was counted among the world’s legendary players.

His aggression was revealed to the world during the 2002 NetWest Series, when India defeated England in the final, skipper lifted the t-shirt in the Lord’s balcony. This photo of him has made headlines around the world and with move his, he has conveyed to the world through the fact that Indian cricketer is no longer behind in any case.

Under his leadership, India won the Test and One Day Series against the arch rivals Pakistan in 2004. Ganguly played a key role in Australia’s Greg Chappell as coach for Team India, but in 2005, he and Chappell’s relationship broke up and Ganguly was removed from the captaincy.

Team India, under the leadership of Ganguly, won the series in a charismatic way back in 2001 against a strong Australia. He brought the young team India to the finals of the 2003 World Cup.

Ganguly has established many records by playing 113 Tests and 311 one-day matches, has now come to the cricket administration, but fans still remember him because of his belligerent attitude.

He  is on no. 8 in ODIs amongst the players with most runs in ODIs.
