ICC Under 19 World Cup 2020 Full Schedule

Last year’s champion Indian team will begin defending the title in the Under-19 World Cup against Sri Lanka on 19 January at Mangong Oval in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Four-time champions India have been placed in Group A along with New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Japan playing for the first time.

The Under 19 tournament of 16 teams will start from 17 January, in which India will take on Japan and New Zealand respectively on 21 and 24 January. The final match will be played on 9 February.

Last-stage runners-up and three-time champions Australia will face the West Indies in the Group B match, including England and debutant Nigeria. In Group C, Pakistan will play Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Scotland.

Host South Africa will play the opening match against Afghanistan on 17 January. The United Arab Emirates and Canada are the other two Group D teams. In the 13th phase of the tournament, the second stage is divided into Super League and Play tournaments. The top two teams from each of the four groups will make it to the Super League while the remaining teams will play in the Plate Championship.
