Ravinder Jadeja 7 wickets on last day leads India to seal the series 4-0 for India

Day 5: England, who started the final day on overnight score 12-0, Both Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings started the vigilantly. Alastair Cook was lucky to survive the morning session as the big moment came in the 3rd over of the day as Skipper cook was dropped on 4 by Parthiv Patel on the bowling of Ashwin.

If the wicket had fallen at that time the story would be different as it was little easy to apply the pressure of Englishmen’s. Since then Indian spinners tried to apply force with close-in fielders but Cook and Jennings, were determined not to get carried away and reach the score of 97 runs at lunch without losing a wicket and heading the match towards a draw. After lunch game turned around as India picked 4 wickets in post lunch session.

Skipper Alastair Cook was became 6th time victim of Ravinder Jadeja in the series caught in gully by Lokesh Rahul for 49 runs missing out his fifty. Soon after this Keaton Jennings was caught and bowled by Ravinder Jadeja on 54 runs.  Joe Root 6 and Jonny 1 Bairstow too didn’t stay long on the crease and went back to pavallion and suddenly England was abridged to 129/4. Jadeja was the one who has changed the things all around by picking a dazzling catch and 3 wickets.

Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes have held their nerves and controlled the situation and didn’t allowed India more wickets till Tea and England went on tea 167/4 and this Test is surely going towards a draw. After tea both Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes were playing scratchy but carefully and duo added another 25 runs after tea before Moeen Ali was dismissed by Ravinder Jadeja on 44 runs caught by Ashwin; wicket no. 4 for Jadeja. Jos Buttler was the next man to join the only set batsmen Ben Stokes but he perishes in the next over of Jadeja brilliantly caught by Karun Nair on 23 runs and now England in lots of trouble.

Liam Dawson was next batsmen but he soon bowled by Amit Mishra on duck. Now Kohli decided to take new ball in the middle of 81st over and it worked as Umesh Yadav picked wicket with very first ball of Rashid caught by Jadeja on 2 runs. Last two wickets were picked by Jadeja again and ended up picking 7 wickets in an innings and 10 wickets in a match and Enhland bundled out on 207/10 and losing its last 6 wickets in space of just 15 runs. Virat Kohli winning 9/12 matches this year and 3 were draw.
