This great captain of England came in support of Adil Rashid, said that I would love to take him in my county team.

England’s leg spinner Adil Rashid has been constantly in dispute after being included in the Test squad of England team against India. England’s former captain Michael Vaughan termed his return to be a joke, distorting him. After which Rashid also told him a fool. But now England’s great all-rounder Ian Botham, supporting the spinner, said that there was no reason to be so controversial on his return.

Ian Botham said that I do not understand what Michael Wan wants to say, but it was not necessary. Rashid must have been disturbed by this, only then he has answered the Michael Vaughan. Rashid is a great cricketer and said that lot has happened, really there was no need. He is a good player, I think he will also perform well. His performance till now has been good.

Apart from this, Botham indicated the spinner to be included in his county club Durham. Right now, Rashid plays county cricket from Yorkshire, but he was also away from the long format. His contract was for limited overs cricket only.

Botham said that our eyes are on it. We will talk to him though this is not possible this year but if he gets ready for next year then it will be good for us. Ian Botham is the Chairman of Durham County.

Botham said that we have recently lost 5-6 players which has weakened our team so that if we come into our team, then we will get the strength. Of course, he is England’s best spinner at this time.
