Former India cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishna (Shiva) has bout on Englishman James Anderson, who called Team India captain Virat Kohli a liar. Shiva said that Anderson, who said skipper Kohli is lying, has made a childish act. It is better for him to focus on his bowling rather than giving such meaningless statements.
It is worth mentioning that Virat Kohli had recently said in an interview that his personal score does not matter unless the Team India gets the win. Apart from this, he said that he wants to enjoy the game in England and is not concerned about his form.
Countering Kohli’s statement, England’s pace bowler James Anderson took him on the back. England bowler Jams Anderson said he was lying that Virat Kohli was lying. Asked about Kohli’s statement, Anderson said that if Virat Kohli feels that the individual form does not matter in the five-match Test series, then he is lying.
Anderson said, “By saying this, Kohli is trying to steal the sight from his poor performance. In 2014, Kohli had to struggle to score runs in England. He was able to make only 134 runs in five Tests. Skipper Kohli himself believes that last time he had a very disappointing tour of England were his performance was not up to the mark of player of his caliber.
Team India is having long tour of England this time. In T20s team India beaten England by 2-1 but lost the ODI series 2-1 to Englishmen. Now team India will take England in 5 Test Match series starting from 1st of August 2018.
