The Boys in Blue, under the leadership of Priyam Garg will take on the Bangladeshi boys in the final of the 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. on Sunday, 9 February, at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom of South Africa.
If India manage to win the finals, it will be their fifth title in 13 editions of the World Cup since 1988.
India U19 Road to Finals of U19 World Cup
Prior to their semi-final thrashing of Pakistan, India U19 registered comprehensive victories against Sri Lanka (by 90 runs), Japan (by 10 wickets), New Zealand (by 44 runs by virtue of the DLS method) and Australia (74 runs).
On the other hand, Bangladesh U19, before beat black caps in the semis, registered wins against Zimbabwe (by nine wickets, DL method), Scotland (by seven wickets) and South Africa (by 104 runs). Their clash against Pakistan was washed out.

India U19 Yashasvi Jaiswal is the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 312 runs at an average of 56 from five matches, including a century and three fifties. Leggie Ravi Bishnoi has been in brilliant form, with 13 wickets from five matches at an average of 11.61.
