Yesterday Delhi Daredevils (DD) young batsman Rishabh Pant made his careers first IPL century by playing the incredible knock. Rishabh played this innings against the best bowling attack of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Hyderabad’s bowling line-up is the most economical and best in the current IPL

Rishabh Pant made an impressive 128 not out of just 63 balls with 15 boudries and 7 sixes. Moreover, it was the 50th Century of IPL history. Pant is the 31st batsman and 13th Indian to score a century in this tournament.

The first century was made by the Brandon McCullum for his franchise KKR in April 2008.

Now Pant put on the 50th century and played 128 in an innings and recorded a record in the record books.

One thousand runs completed at the youngest age

During this match Rishabh Pant completed his 1,000 runs in the IPL career. He has scored 1085 runs so far. Along with that, he also became the batsmen who completed 1,000 runs at the youngest age of the IPL. Pant broke the record of Sanju Samson, completing one thousand runs at 20 years and 218 days. Samson completed 1 thousand IPL runs at 21 years 183 days. 

Become first Indian to score highest runs in T20s 

Rishabh Pant made 128 * in the innings against Sunrisers in the match. This is the highest score made by any Indian batsmen in the T20 format.

Before Pant, this record was in the name of Vijay. Who played 127 runs innings against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2010.After him, Virender Sehwag is number , who played 122 runs innings against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2014.  

The second batsmen to score a century at the youngest age in IPL

Rishabh scored 128 * of 63 balls in the match. He become the second youngest player to score hundred after Manish Pandey (SRH). Back in 2009, he had hammered a hundred for Royal Challengers Bangalore, aged 19 years and 253 days. Sanju Samson is now the third youngest – he had scored a hundred for DD last year when he was 22 years and 151 days.

Orange Cap 

During this innings, Rishabh Pant became the batsmen who scored the most runs in this IPL season, after which the Orange Cap came to him.

Pant has scored 521 runs in 11 matches this season. He left behind Lokesh Rahul of Kings XI Punjab (10 matches 471 runs) in this case.

Most runs scored in the last over 

During the Delhi innings, the last over from Hyderabad was bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In this over of Bhuvi, Rishabh scored two fours and consistently three sixes which add tally of 26 runs

This is the highest runs last of this IPL 2018.
