Yuzvendra Chahal Picked Fifer; India Crushed South Africa By 9 Wickets

The Indian team, chasing an easy target of 119 given by South Africa, defeated the hosts by nine wickets in the second one-dyer and took lead of 2-0 in the six-match ODI series. The South African team batted first, scored just 118 runs in 32.2 overs. In reply, India won a wicket easily in 20.3 overs after lunch. Shikhar Dhawan 51 and Captain Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 46. 

Earlier, South Africa was reduced to 118 runs only. The Indian spinner broke the back bone of  hosts batting lineup . And it was led by right-handed leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who took five wickets, while Kuldip Yadav took 3 wickets. Indian spinners proved nightmare to host batsmen. No South African batsman looked comfortable against India new duo Kuldeep Yadav and  Yujvendra Chahal in  the 2nd ODI at Centurion. Once the opener Hashim Amla was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar, both Indian spinners looted South African batsmen together.

South African misfortune started on the last ball of the 12th over, when Quinton de Kock was out on the ball of Yuzvendra Chahal. After this, Kuldeep Yadav, who came in the 13th over, hit the new caretaker South African captain Aden Markram and then David Miller on zero and hit the hosts’ groove that South Africa could not recover from it. At one end JP Duminy tried his best with 25 runs but none other batsman could stay on the crease for long as  Yuzvendra Chahal continued to take wickets. The wickets continued to fall on regular intervals and the whole South African team got out in 32.2 overs. Apart from Yuzvendra Chahal for India, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets and Jaspreet Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one wicket each. 

In Overall, Yuzvendra and Kuldeep together bowled 14.2 overs out which one were Maiden; in all they just spent 42 runs and plucked eight wickets. That means Yujhwandar and Kuldeep together in the Centurion ODI have completely destroyed.
