CSKvKXIP: CSK Will Step To Maintain The Winning Streak

Chennai Super Kings- CSK will definitely want maintain their winning streak when they meet with the Kings XI Punjab in the 12th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday. This will be the third game for both the teams.

The CSK has won two out of two and both of them were nail biting finishes whether it was the opening match of the tournament against defending champions Mumbai Indians or with the Kolkata Knight Riders at M. A.  Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai which CKS again won with 1 ball to go but this time they chased a big total.

The  bowling department is studded by quality spinners likes of Harbhajan Singh and Imran Tahirs well supported by all rounders like Ravinder Jadeja , Suresh Raina and Shane Watson

On the contrary, Kings XI Punjab have won one game against Delhi Daredevils and lost one against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Ashwin will be leading his team for win against the team of which he was a key member for long time. It will be a Interesting contest to watch.

KXIP Player KL Rahul registered fastest fifty in the history of IPL in opening match for his team, justifying the franchise selectors for spending whopping amount of Rs 11 crore on him.

In next game against Royal Challengers Bangalore he smashed 47 runs of just 30 balls but his team lost wickets in quick succession and could not built up big score  after foundation laid by openers and team just managed modest total of 155 all out on the board.

In the batting department, there are high expectations from Aaron Finch, who was unavailable for the opening match, but failed with the bat against RCB.

Punjab’s bowlers are doing a fine job with 17-year-old spinner Mujeeb-ur-Rahman surprising the batsmen with his unusual deliveries. Apart from Ashwin, Mohit Sharma, Mujeeb, Axar Patel and Andrew Tye add depth to Punjab’s bowling attack.
