The Third Test between India and England, on the first day of the Nottingham Test, India team learned lesson from their previous mistakes as they showed good batting display. In this match, Rishabh Pant was also included in the place of Dinesh Karthik. The Indian fans were unhappy when skipper Virat Kohli’s got out on 97 runs just 3 runs short of his 23rd century. But young dynamic batsman gave fans another chance to cheer up.
The fact is that, when Rishabh Pant came out to bat first, he was facing leg-spinner Adil Rashid. He defended the first ball easily but after that, even Rashid was surprised what happened. But on the second ball of the wicketkeeper-batsman on his Test debut against England, Pant came dancing down the track and struck the ball for a six off Adil Rashid’s bowling.
He got his Test cap in the morning and now becomes the first Indian batsman to open his account with a six!
