Bangladesh Women V Sri Lanka Women

Match 14: After winning the toss Sri Lanka Women put Bangladesh women into bat; they posted decent total on the board as they opening stand partnership of 43 runs.  With the contribution of Sanjida Islam 35 of 49 balls and Shala Sharmin 25 runs of 38 balls Bangladesh Women managed to post 93 runs on the board with the loss of 3 wickets. In reply Sri Lanka not has the best of start as they lose their first wicket on 19 runs.  Since then Mendis and Jayangani both added 58 runs for the 2^nd wicket; but two quick wickets give little hopes to Bangladeshi Women as Sri Lank still required another 15 runs from 30 balls. However Sri Lanka didn’t allow more cascades of wickets as they achieved the target in 19 over’s and won the match by 7 wickets with 6 balls remaining. Bangladesh would be thinking as they were 10-15 runs short otherwise it would be different story.

Thailand Women V Pakistan Women

Venue & Date: Bangkok, 3^rd December 2016

Match 15: After wining the toss Thailand Women elected to bat first but as usual the same story they all bundled out for 51 runs in 18.2 overs. Four ducks in Thailand innings with top score being 13 runs made Nattakan Chantam. From Pakistan side Sara Mir took 4 wickets giving just 9 runs of his 4 over’s. In reply Pakistan was also loosing wickets on regular intervals as Pakistan lost both his openers on the score of 13 runs but run rate of Pakistan never dropped and they achieved the target in 11.4 overs. Suleeporn Laomi picked 3 wickets, she gave little belief to Thailand but the score was too low to defend.
